Refreshing Papaya and Turmeric Smoothie
½ medium papaya (5 oz. /150g) peeled, chopped
1 ½ cup (350ml) coconut milk, carton
½ tsp. ground turmeric
½ lime, juice
2 tbsp. honey
1 scoop (25g) vanilla protein powder
1 cup ice
Peel and chop the papaya.
Ready all the other ingredients.
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth.
Divide between 4 glasses and serve immediately.
Turmeric and papaya both contain a lot of antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties.
